And I remember being shocked by HP's comment. Not shocked by the word "shit", but that a magazine would print such a blunt, straightforward opinion of a product. I loved it, but it certainly wasn't what I was used to from the mainstream audio mags.
Oh, and from my experience, HP's take on the Whisker was on the money. I took a guy I worked with to one of our local stereo emporiums (remember those?). He brought an LP with him, and they used the Whisker to clean it prior to demoing whatever we had come to listen to. He told me later than the record didn't sound so good anymore after that.
