I grow tired of people making sweeping generalizations about DSD. Leaving aside the fact that as far as I know, most consumers can't get access to any files that started out DSD and have been DSD for every moment of their existence, I think that all one can really say is, "I love the sound of this ADC and that DAC, in DSD mode."
Keeping in mind that nearly all modern DACs handle DSD as multi-bit for at least part of the process.
