RE: What does being "accomplished scientist" have to do with hearing differences between amplifiers?

Better if it was called Methane Audio, since Circle Jerk is kinda taken. I don't care about anybody's opinion unless they have proven expertise in the field, but I do care about peoples' facts. Remember facts? Not a lot to be found these days. This forum is no place for mch sound, as anybody who has the smallest clue about it already knows. Kal knows, he is more correct on mch stuff than most people here could possibly comprehend, as evidenced by their demonstrated lack of knowledge and ridiculous pronouncements when they tiptoe in. I come here for 2ch stuff myself. The A/V and HT forums are useless for that. Some people embrace both, some are totally ignorant re one or the other. You don't have to admit it, people can tell when you are.
