Valin has gushed over each of these speakers as "breakthrough" products over the past few years. How many "breakthroughs" can there be?

Some people complain that there are too many components in Stereophile's Recommended Components listings. I don't remember too many complaints about Valin's "speed dating" of what has become his speaker-of-the-month club.
