I read it and felt the "nominator" acquitted himself very well, certainly cleared up many questions on the topic... e.g. there was no "review", wouldn't be one "unless it is [becomes] a real-world product", that the awards (Golden Ears) are traditionally discretionary and the opinion of the individual reviewer, etc.
Oh, as for the exchanges between you two I thought he handed you your ass on a plate. An indelicate expression I'll grant but one that nonetheless concisely sums up my impression... which is of course merely as I see it.

Everything matters, don't forget to tweak your placebos!
