Look, everyone has the right to decide for themselves how much credit to give a review BUT when Hikejohn says" Accepts too much BS from advertisers" the only rational conclusion to that statement,IMO, is that advertisers are corrupting the neutrality of the review by the fact they advertise in the magazine. In other words, to some degree they *buy* the review. There is nothing wrong about wondering how the review came to its conclusion but this was a definite accusation of influence buying even if he didn't mean it that way. I have no connection to any reviewer or magazine but as a teacher I would rightly be upset if someone suggested that my marking was being influenced for personal gain.
