I see JM in exactly the oppostie light. I dont know this person, but can only judge him by his writings on this forum. Perhaps you know him personally! I find his writings to be particulay irritating and self indulgent especially when it comes to his selective defence of the "good" people in the industry. I really dont care if he considers Dave Wilson a man of intergrity. I really dont care if he thinks so and so is a person of competence. The fact remains that he has a personal and professional connection with many of the people he protects. In my mind this makes many of his comments inane.

I dont see Hikejohn's post as a troll. I think that he was attempting to elicit responses from other inmates. Certainly he is not the first to be confused with the content of a review or to question the motivation behind a publication. To expect him to put extra work into detail and substance to satisfy people like JM, Kuller, etc is in itself an insult to other inmates in this asylum. Why should we do any extra work so that you dont see this post as a troll? I hope you get my point. Further, the others that interpretted this post as a troll are the same people that always interpret most if not all criticism as a troll. I think that the moderator of this forum is interested in peace and tranquility more than anything else. The moderator called Hikejohn's post a troll, but he killed the post because it wasnt going anywhere and resorted to name calling. This name calling was started by JM pure and simple.

The fact remains that JM was out of line and I really dont think you can defend his actions. Telling us that his immature behaviour was the result of a comment the he didnt like or with he disagreed doesnt change a thing. If you know him personally and consider him a friend trying to justify his behaviour in any way shape or form is a serious mistake. People are simply not objective about friends nor individuals that benefit them professionally.

Did you read the responses to this original thread before the thread was killed? Did you follow the progression?

I think that the real tragedy of this forum is that it is quickly getting divided into 2 camps. The apologists and the conspiracey theorists. This isnt good for anyone that cares about this industry and it makes the extremists on both ends look like fools.
