First let me say thank you for getting involved.

I think that part of the reason few inmates have spoken up in support of Hikejohn is the intimidation tactic often used on this forum. If you do searches for attacks on this forum for supposed incidences of "trolling" you will see that the same few (I call them the usual suspects) rise up and get on the offensive. Most of these inmates are in the business and are reviewers, dealers and manufacturers. These suspects take an extremely liberal view regarding their definition of trolling and use this as justification to attack and belittle. If one grants these suspects the intelligence of forethought, you could say that the name calling is an attempt to draw the troll into an emotional and defensive posture. It appears that these few feel they are somehow entitled because they occupy a more important role in this industry than others. Perhaps they truly believe they know more than the rest of us,..I guess I really dont care. In addition, and this is the scarey part for me, they often have a strong bond with the individuals they see as being under attack.

The bottom line is that I dont see this as an open forum. I dont see this forum as constructive or supportive of different views. I will continue to post my opinions regardless of the responses and I am encouraging my friends and peers that are in the industry to do likewise. It is real tragedy when the insiders think that they are more important to this industry than the consumers. I really hate this old boy, secret handshake shit. I just wish more inmates that see things the way we do would speak out.
