If the Rockport qualified it would have had to have had a 30 day MBG, which it it didn't.

Regardless, I do understand your point - my point being that I am not privy to the inner working of Stereophile, so I can only point to these anomalies and say that they all have something in common - very high end, bleeding-edge analog.
