I can't say that I know one way or another how things work at Stereophile. I can only say that it seems that they are, at the very least, consistent with regard to how they have handled analog gear such as the Rockport, the Simon Yorke, and the Continuum.

Again - it would likely be beneficial for JA to chime in and illuminate the issue.
