Jim, My tone was making a joke I don't think yours was. I am not trying to fight with you but I don't buy anything by someone else's word. It might make me take a look and a listen but not to purchase.
I want to ask you a question what is it worth to someone looking to make a purchase of an expensive piece to listen for a reasonable time before a purchase? I have no issue loaning gear to my regular clients and have never had an issue. In fact almost all the time they buy it or a competing item however there are a lot of "customers" that will abuse said priviledge and then by used, or the internet, or then shop all over for a better deal. When I ask I am curious since it is worth sopmething to me when I want to buy something that I feel needs to be experienced like a car or a new driver for my golf game. I am certainly willing to pay to prevent making a large mistake.
