Hey Elliot, I don't think I burned any more bridges than you did. My tone was precisely the same as yours, it seems to me.

I don't blame dealers for not loaning out expensive equipment to people they don't know. It's risky. But it doesn't leave consumers with a lot of good alternatives. Buying on a recommendation is as good as or better than a lousy audition, IMO. Both suck.
