According to the rules I feel the Continuum should not be reviewed.
For what it is,it MUST be reviewed as must the Magicos and all the other cutting edge products that may otherwise not scrape past the rules.(My "professional molasses" referred to these rules and rigidities ie elements of bureaucracy -not your memorable reviews and measurements)
Offhand I can think of the CAT pre amp that was little more than a prototype when reviewed in TAS all those years ago-and look where that went(probably nowhere without that review)
On the other hand I can think of a tuner(Black?) reviewed by Hi Fi Answers equally long ago. It was poorly designed barely worked and quickly disappeared but had a page wasted on it.Is it not better to review such chancers and help them them sink themselves?
Fortunately those decisions are your problem. All I ask is that those decisions be made with consistency.
