Yes I did read the article at least once . After all as a reader since 1980 I have been wading through the mollases of your "professionalism" for a hell of a long time.I do not have to read it online,I can pull it from the shelf next to the TAS,RDS,HiFi+,HFN and even if I dig deep enough the photo of you playing a Double Bass on a HFN cover.
I thought my question was polite enough.
I would say you are getting caught up in the complexities of your own rules. This is amply illustrated by both Mr Serinius and yourself spending ink on this rule as an excuse in the Magico review. Surely the rule is simple-more than 5 dealers for a product or a long established co selling direct.
Let us look at the Continuum(I have nothing against that product per se):
At the time of the review the Continuum was that company's first product. It had only been on the market a short time and was only sold direct. In the review terms like "unfinished business" crops up.I would call that uncomfortably close to a prototype or at best an unfinished product in evolution.
If I phoned you and said that I build a killer pre amp in South Africa(I don't), that it is hand-built by the people who designed the G6 gun aiming system(they don't) and that I only sell it directly worldwide-would you review it? If yes;why? If no;how would that be different from the Continuum?
