If this is true, it would be laughably ironic. After going through about a half-dozen "breakthrough" speakers in not much more than a year's time, Valin settled on the Magico Mini as his "fave rave" for about a year. (Although that should be qualified by the fact that it actually changed to the version 2 model that was his "fave rave", and then it had to be paired with the Wilson-Benesch subwoofers.) So if he has a new "fave rave", I guess that means "buh-bye" to the Magico, and back on to his apparent attempt to setting a record for serial monogamy.
It makes one wonder -- does he really not hear the flaws in his current "fave rave" (any of them!), or does he simply have a severe case of loudspeaker ADHD?
