Is nothing to look forward to and I hope it never happens. Whether one cares about ham radio or home audio or EMI in general or secure, reliable communications, it's insane. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the fiber build-out will be fast enough that the economics will fail and that particular switch won't get pulled.
