that still have dialup. I have no idea what FIOS is, but I'd be politely curious on what a 5-yr cost is. Ignoring, of course, the tax deduct for being a mod.

I pay $102/yr to Earthlink, I can't do DSL because of distance, and I'm holding out as long as possible from sending Comcast $1980 for 5 years of cable Net access.

And, from what I've recently read, so-called 'hi-speed' US access is puny compared to other countries. Plus, the little problem cropping up of people getting dropped because of 'too much' (unlimited) access.
