. . . given that it's kind of a dickheady thing to say.

I just tried downloading issue #12 of Tone Audio. After five minutes I aborted the download. I don't care if I have a personal message coming in from the pope, I don't wait five minutes online.

This is on broadband and a pretty fast computer. I don't ever have to wait for stuff online--except PDFs.

As I mentioned, I have to use PDFs in my work (alas). The speed is slow, the print speed is hideously slow, and I don't like the interface or the navigation. Other than that I have no strong feelings.

This is based on years of experience on several different computers and several types of internet connection.

If Tone Audio wants more readers, the first thing to do is get out of PDF mode. If they do so I'll gladly check them out.
