Audio Note is not filterless

Just a clarification: Like Zanden, Audio Note DACs are non-oversampling and don't use a digital filter, but do use an analog reconstruction filter.

The truly filterless designs perform horribly, with treble rolloff and tons of measured distortion. I don't understand their appeal. A soft, rolled off sound can be achived through other means that don't introduce all that distortion.
