Hi folks!

The fun thing about ET clan is that we are a tightly linked bunch of tube freaks that not only share ideas but also sometimes share workbench.Of course this time it was no exception (plse read on...)

While Doc was patiently training his young apprentice to build custom built ET line of products I saw the first pair of beautifully build, all hand-crafted Paramour 2A3 running in with a pair of small bookshelfs (2 way using a single metal cone mid-woofer similar to the ones used in Straight-8). While the folks including Doc. were upstairs entertaining each other I was listening to some FM jazz music playing on the corner of the dungeon shelf while working onJM's AE-3 mod..... Gosh! this baby has all the properties DHT fanatics wished to own: midrange liquidity, speed, bassline articulation (although I do not have the specs. for the Paramour, I do trust my ears believing that it's good solid bass down to somewhere between 35 ~ 40Hz).

what about the rest of the sound??? Sweet heavenly highs that non only draws you to the music but also non-fatiguing that you can leave it running for hours listening to your favourite music w/o giving you headache(or driving Fido away...) Mids? Some sweetest, most enjoyable sexaphone and Ella Fitzgerald I heard (with a Kenwood FM tuner!!)...

Conclusion: whatever you want from a small power (approx. 3Watt) DHT SE amp, Paramour not only delivers, but with amazing quality and excellent price...Did you say something like 400bucks a pair???

I kinda regret knowing Doc. ever since I first met him a couple of years back then for only 1 reason: This guy is definitely a DHT Sonic DeviL!!!!

Quest ;^> (with an evil grin on his face)
