I was fortunate to meet John at VSAC 98 and am thankful for the candor of his answers to my seeming plebian questions. I am also thankful for the warmth of his smile, the strength of his handshake, and for helping to rekindle in me pride for haveing served my country. I know that He would be a touch embarassed by my blatant disregard for flag etiquette but at my house the flag flies today at half staff. Good bye John and thank you.Scott
