If you wouldn't mind clicking below and then on pictures, I have the first in what will be a series of step-by-step pix of re-building the Paramours. I'm using a few dollars worth of "boutique" parts but I'm especially trying for even more attention to good connections and routing.
I hit a major stumbling block with the first filter cap: the Panasonic TSHB's prongs don't lend themselves to "vertical" installation the way the wires on the Nichicons do. So I jammed the prongs thru the crowded terminal 4&5 and rotated the terminal strip. That hides the solder joints and I either have to cross my fingers, set the Panasonics to the deck and run wires from the prongs to the terminals, or re-use the Nichicons.
Advice?
