C4S loading the "bottom" half of the 12AT7 instead of the SRPP setup.Other mods that we won't include but should be worth looking into-
5965 substituted for 12AT7 - note that this will slightly overload the power trans, but should plug right in.
Big fat braided power cord.All of these mods except for the 5965 were incorporated into Colin's amps when we built them, and they were an audible improvement over the stock amps we keep here.
