There is a small amount of space between the yellow bobbin on the underside of the power transformer and the side laminations. When I was building my kit, I cut off the excess lead of one of the capasitors after soldering it place. Guess where it ended up? I could hear this piece of metal rolling around under the top plate of my power transformer. It took a good 25 minutes to get this offensive piece of metallic "chad" to finally drop out . I'm not sure if it would have been harmful to leave it in there or not, but I wasn't taking any chances. I would suggest putting a piece of masking tape over this space in order to avoid this kind of situation. My apologies for not addressing this issue earlier. - maldar
