Hi there. I'm wiring up my SEX amp's left channel binding post with 10 3/4" of twisted teflon wire. I've soldered the wire to the lower and upper terminals of the headphone jack on the volume pot side. I've soldered the wire attached to the bottom terminal to the black binding post of the left channel (closest to RCA jack) and routed the wire around the output transformer. The wire connected to the upper terminal of the headphone jack is too short to reach the left channel red binding post (red binding post closest to RCA jack).
Can I just solder a piece of teflon wire just long enough to make the connection to the binding post and wrap electrical tape around it to protect the joint? If not, should I route the twisted wire a different way?
Thanks!
Phil
