SEX amp question

Hello everyone!

I am in the middle of my first tube amp build (and of course i chose the SEX) and have a quick question. I am following the instructions and am wiring the binding posts to the headphone jack now. I noticed that afterward, there is a short between the two posts of the same channel. I traced this back to the white and black wires from the secondary of the autoformers. When I check continuity with my DMM, there is a short (well, 1 ohm) between white and black. Is that supposed to be the case? I am new to this, but would appreciate advice with as little mocking as possible haha.
