This comes up fairly often, so there are several threads on the forum about it.

In addition to the heater current difficulty, note that the 6N1P has a much higher plate resistance, so the output cable must have a low capacitance and be short.

Incidentally, some time back there was a Svetlana data sheep published which accidentally exchanges the plate resistance and transconductance specs. This makes the tube appear to be more similar to a 6DJ8 than it really is. This error is still widely propagated - don't fall for it!
