Thanks to both CB and Paul: I printed your reply, Paul, and will measure as you suggest, but I've already done that and found nothing wrong. I'm not 100% sure what "all along that path" means, since the path TO 42 must be okay since I get 140 VDC there. But I'll check everything I can think to check. I redid a bunch of voltage checks recently but for some reason didn't do 32 or 42. I'll do them now and report. I'm beginning to suspect that there's nothing wrong with either C4S board I've built and that the trouble lies back in the Seduction chassis, despite the fact that the Seduction worked fine (as far as I could tell) once I took the first C4S board out and restored the four 18K ohms resistors.
