The SR45 circuit with the 6CM7 tube as driver has about 12 dB less gain than the stock Paramour II with the 12AT7 driver. So you should need to turn it up about four clicks from where you had it before. Are you using the 33K resistors in between the selector and the volume control on the FPIII or a larger value?
