You need to say what impedance you are attempting to create. But sadly I don't understand your wiring.Are you paralleling or putting the speakers in series?
Usually you start with 4 8 ohm speakers. With this arrangement, you parallel two pairs (both positives together both negatives together) then put the resulting combinations in series (from your + binding post into the + of the first pair, out the - of the first pair into the + of the second pair, and finally out of the - of the second pair to the = binding post).
That yields 8 ohms.
