For the last couple of weeks I've been breaking in the Paramount 300B amps that I built for my daughter. They are connected to an extended Foreplay III and a pair of 1972 Cornwalls whose crossovers have been rebuilt.
Because of the excess gain of the Foreplays I've been using a chincy stereo attenuator until I get the chance to replace the stepped attenuators of the Foreplay.
This system awesome as it is.
This morning I made some interconnects from Belden 89259 coax and Canare crimp plugs and replaced the existing interconnects - removing the chincy attenuator in the process.
What a difference!
These Paramounts are simply amazing. So much so that my wife is threatening to keep the Paramounts and give my daughter the Paraglows.
I can't wait to see the next "trick" that Doc, Paul and Eileen have in store for us. Good job, guys (and gal).
