Converting a SEX amp to run 10, vt-25. I have a pair of Electraprint 10K:8 ohm parafeed transformers and a sex amp I'm not using. Could run the 10s with 350 volts on the plate as it seems to me that that is about what the amp currently runs at. 16ma at this plate voltage.
Can I change bias to get the -32 volts I need? I really don't understand how this works, and I can't seem to find my copy of the instruction cd that came with it.
Would need to shoehorn in 7.5v filament supply.
Probably remove volume control to accomadate dual triode driver tube, any ideas?
Use the existing plate chokes but can't recall their specs.
Any comments/notions/ideas greatly appreciated.
