Yes, ST35 has a 3 prong plug

I've been using the st35 and foreplay plugged into a single power strip. I've had the issue in two different parts of the house (which was built in 1992) so I don't think its the wiring. Not to mention, I moved here 5 years ago and the house inspector checked all the plugs.
