I would be very interested in measuring the DC voltage at the output jacks on the Foreplay III. Unplug all the output cables, flip the FP-III on and measure the DC voltage between the center pin and ground tab of each RCA jack. This should be VERY close to zero (as in if you get a number, it's how much your meter is off from absolute zero). Next, if you have anything else plugged into the other output jacks besides your amp, plug that in and take the same measurement while the FP-III is running. If there's DC being fed into the output jacks from another source (maybe a sub that's plugged in there), the FP-III will not block that DC from passing through (although there's a mod to change that if you need it). If you get OV DC everywhere, that's a good start. JC and Grainger also have good ideas to follow up on.
