What is the resistance the cap will play into?

Look at a reactance chart or use the math.

159000/ cap value in uf times the resistance in ohms will give you the -3db point.

If you want it to be flat to 20hz the -3db point should be 2hz.

As for the highs, it is said that the larger the cap value, the more the highs are rectified. Smaller caps are "faster".
