Thanks, Grainger. I gather from your post that there is no additional benefit beyond 4.0uF, but is there actually any technical disadvantage to it? I've heard the saying that "bigger is better" WRT output caps, but I've seen suggestions that high-freq roll-off can occur....and my knowledge is simply not deep enough to sort it out. Any further thoughts?
