I love my marchand XM-9. There are some mods that will really improve the sound. Why not use the crossover point of the passive xover? Also with the marchand, I advise not using the volume controls(potentiometers) on the front of the unit. I use the small one on the board, And some of those have been replaced with fixed resistors.
