I'm doing a little pricing today on our reference speaker system project, of which we will be building a pair - or maybe more if other folks are interested. Basically the idea is how far can we take the S8 concept using the best stuff we can come up with. The price of the drivers alone is around three times what entire S8 kit with cabinet was priced at. Makes one appreciate the bang for the buck of those MCM drivers.
