Listen first and decide if the 2A3 drive your speakers loud enough for you. Either way, you are getting great sound. As far as sonic differences between tube types, they can be as different as the differences between brands/models. No easy answer here. But 2A3 are cheaper than 300B. BTW What are your speakers?
