Optimizing SEX Phone Outs for Pre Amp Duty

I have tried the SEX amp as a tube pre using the phone out and a 2:1 jack, and can say it completely exceeded my expectations; I used it with a high quality SS amp and there was outstanding dimensionality, motion, and above all, TONE, in the works. Just wondering what the mandarins thought about optimizing it for pre amp duty... tx,
