Not an answer, just a bit of history. I worked for several decades with high precision condenser microphones. A bit of condensation inside would take one of these out in a flash, and they are very expensive. Originally they had small tube cathode followers built into the mic body, and if they were to be exposed to humid conditions you would leave at least the heaters powered to keep them dry. Later models used FETs, but incorporated a fake filament (a power resistor) just so you could still keep them warm.
