I just completed my Extended Upgrade for the FPIII (my second one). All resistance checks were the most "on" I've ever seen. However, I'm not getting good voltage readings in the heater supply section. H1 and H2 only indicate a little over two volts. The problem seems to be in the "A" side. Q2 on the "A" side of the shunt regulator board is getting quite hot. All LEDs are lit, but the ones on the "A" side are definitely bright. The "B" CS4 LEDs are not nearly as bright as the "A" CS4 or the shunt regulator. As I continue to read voltages, the "A" side voltages are about 10% of the target value. The "B" side seems good.
All LEDs light and fuses don't blow. The FPIII was in service for about 55 hours before I did the upgrade.
Thanks,
Gary
