At first all that would be needed are bases made from more exotic wood other than beautiful Pacific Northwest alder. I believe that half of the build is trying to make a great looking base, and a good base and top plate takes longer to complete than assembling the electrical components. My latest project, amp for my daughter, have two more identical pieces to finish.
