Yeah these jacks are a little problematic. It's another of those compromises made to keep the prices where you guys want them. For a brief period we had jacks that had flats on the jack as well as the nut, but they have been a little tricky to get in a steady supply. So we have gone back to the ones that are round. If you get the solder lug ring to bite into the washer a little and then block the solder lug so the ring can't spin you can usually cinch the nut up pretty well without the jack spinning.

Or you can spend about $80 and get yourself 8 nice Cardas GRFA-S ones from Kevin at DIY Cable. They have flats on the jack itself.
