Thanks for the kind words about the look of the kits. They are purely a from follows function design based on the concept of keeping everything on one plate. Actually I have always found them rather homely. I suspect that may be part of the attraction for some folks.

I really like the "tubes and transformers out the back" approach. It's quite practical and from the backside it looks pretty hip. We are still refining the front panel look and fasteners. This is, after all, just a prototype.
