Hello all, last night I "finished" this prototype preamp, and with Doc's permission I am posting a couple of photos to get some feedback (yes, he's a better photographer than I am). This incorporates the Extended FPIII circuit on 6SN7's with a 12AU7 as the shunt reg tube. Inside is a remote controlled input selector/80 step volume attenuator. The power supply will likely be shifted to a PC board, but the form factor seems pretty close to what Doc had in mind. Let me know what you think! Photos of the back panel have been omitted because it still needs a bit of cosmetic leveling.
