Thank you Grainger ( and everyone else, too ) and that was my next question, ie, what type of wire should be used for this. One response to my original
question said to just use a shorter interconnect and this had already been tried. But I picked up some microphony ( ? ) out of the left channel with the two units so close together. Even my wrapping the interconnect with some insulating material ( did I confess about being an Audio Cheapskate ) that I had on hand didn't help too much.
