Bleeder Resistors - Doc? PJ? Ed? Eli?

In the interest of safety, would it be appropriate to put bleeder resistors on older Bottlehead equipment, my Foreplay 2 or Seduction, to assure me that there will be nothing on the higher voltage caps before I sling solder?

My only concern is loss of drive.
How about a 470K or half Meg?
