If you use a sub with the 8's (I did), cross it over at 40Hz or so. BTW I am possibly considering selling my personal pair of 8s. I'll let folks know if I decide to let them go. My new system is going to be spendy, and I may need to liquidate a few items to cover the cost of 18 drivers and 18 amps.
