Broke an LM431 on Paramount kit...any temporary substitutions?

Hi,

During testing of my Paramount 300B, I snapped the cathode lead off the LM431 adjustable shunt regulator attached to the 12AT7 tube.

Is there something I can substitute until one arrives from Doc and Eileen?

I don't live near an electronics house and we all know the limited parts R.Shack has on hand? But I do have a R.S. nearby.
